Update brought my mom home from hospital a few days ago,she's still hanging in there she's a strong gal for 90 years. Hospice Nurses come in a few times a week her appetite is still about non-existent. we are just making her has comfortable has possible. Here is a pic of my 90 year old mama has Ive always called her.That's all for now I'm doing OK.
My mama Died last night around 10;30p.m.,I was turning her and she basically died in my arms,peacefully,she will be buried next week in California next to my Dad in my small hometown, there.For years Friends told her she looked liked Hedy Lamar a Hollywood actress from long ago. We had this silly running joke for years in my family about my Mom and Elizabeth Taylor outliving everyone,it was silly but when some big celeb or many folks we know had died we would say yeah but Liz and my mom are still alive so I was surprised that only about 10 or hours after my mom died Liz died too,yeah life is funny, she's at peace now hopefully. and yes I had many years of quality time and memories with my mom. A pic when she was younger and her and my dad.
Im so sorry for your loss Vicky, really. But unfortunately this day must come for everyone. Your mother lived to a VERY respectable age (I know no one in my surroundings who made it through their 80's!). And I love that first picture, its really beautiful, they dont make them like that anymore. The only pics most of us have of our twenties is being shit face drunk or on the beach ... shame. *squish hug*
