| exactly like lost! you're on a FUCKING ISLAND! WITH 50 SURVIVORS! WHAT KINDA SECRETS HAVE YOU GOT THERE! that's what I think is so lame about spiderman and superman, and cool with Iron Man! with star trek though, it's more team effort! especially the early movies. I like that, the entire team sticks together, and back up ever decission of the captain. That's why I LOVE Chekov! :P

| apparently Lost had no secrets at all because the writers forgot to think of any and so the ending SUCKED! I watched that show for 6 years and in the end it was ALL FOR NOTHING! (but that's how I sometimes feel about BSG too ) With Star Trek they didn't need secrets because they had good writing! (well most of the time anyway)

| How can you not appreciate the Picard Maneuver? DS9 remains awesome (hell, I named my daughter afrer a character - something she'll grow to hate me for), but TNG aged badly and nothing actually happens... which bugs me watching it back. Voyager and Enterprise was quite bland, and despite Enterprise pointing out that T'Pol has mighty breasticles, it needed more Linda Park for me to appreciate it.
